When the yarn is thin, the weft density should be increased. Warp and weft density is related to pile height, density and fabric fastness. The weft density is large and the fluff is dense. The warp density is large, and under the condition of unchanged structure, the plush is short and firmly consolidated, the fabric is tight, but the hand is hard.

    Usually, the weft tightness of corduroy fabrics is as high as 140% to 180%, and the warp tightness is 50% to 60%, which is about 1/3 of the weft tightness. Small warp tightness and large weft tightness are a major feature of corduroy fabrics. The original yarn is a single yarn of 18.2 tex. Although the twist is large, the single yarn strength is too small, only 271.2 cN, which is far from meeting the weaving requirements. After trial weaving, it cannot be used for weaving at all. Sizing. Since the original yarn is relatively fine, in order to facilitate raising and cutting, the weft density should be increased as much as possible under the condition that the weaving can proceed smoothly. At the same time, taking into account factors such as pile height, density and fabric fastness, in order to make the fabric achieve a better state, the ratio of warp tightness to weft tightness should be kept at 1/3 when designing. Left and right, that is, the warp density is about 1/3 of the weft density.
